Self Identity

Self Identity

A Poem by John Arachtingi

Some people like me for my talents.
Some people like me for my personality.
Some people like me for my wisdom and knowledge.

Some people like me for my smile.
Some people like me for my laugh.
Some people like me for my tears I shed for the right reasons.

I don't like me for my actions.
I don't like me for my words.
I don't like me for any thought I have had or will have.

I like me because I have no choice.
I must like me, for no reasons at all.
Because I must like me,
I will love me unconditionally.
