Why Do We?

Why Do We?

A Poem by FruityLooney
"

Something I wrote up, there's a meaning behind it but I don't want to ruin anyone's interpretation of the poem so.

"
Your glossy eyes,
Tell the saddest lies.
Your smile tells me your fine,
But what I see tells me otherwise.

You always laugh,
And say it's alright,
But yet,
Why does your body tremble?

Your shaking hands,
Your cracking smile.
I can tell, your not fine,
So why do you lie?

You've shown so much to me,
Yet you hide away,
And don't let me inside,
So why do we try?

What happened,
To that beaming you?
You seemed so bright,
Now you're light is dimming.

I wanna see your fire,
Burn so bright,
That it lights me up inside,
Yet your dying, and I'm dying with you.
