Minor Mirror Mocking Me

Minor Mirror Mocking Me

A Poem by Arctic Fox

Since when did thee become oh so useless;

Full of decaying bones and empty space?

And have thy soul ever be so heartless,

To the point ye cant walk at a fast pace?

Since when did thee become oh so spiteful?

Mouth full of gall and a mind full of lies.

Ye hates others for being deceitful,

yet lives a life of tales seen by all eyes.

Taketh thy loath song and swallow it whole,

Along with the fibs that where told too.

I know that I have an important role,

so I speak boldly now in regards to:

My reflecting carcass in the mirror;

My shattered being in reality.

I personally didn't understand this on very well. I think it's from the mirrors point of view, and is explaining what it sees from the person dead in front of it. Still a very good poem though!
