Sky DiverA Poem by Arctic FoxStanding at the last step, hard to be seen, Watching the busy ants bustle amongst the pave. Lights from the scrapers glistening around me. Anxiety and relief overlaps into an unbearable wave. Just how long until I'm in a sea of lights? May they cover me till I'm out of sight. Drifting back again down to the Earth, Departing in the sky, leaving life behind. Heading to the answer of life's question, That answer so hard to find. Finally making times last impression. Sky diving into the sea of lights. So beautiful in people's sights. Landing back down to Earth, you won't be able to see my new birth. © 2017 Arctic Fox |
