Confessions of a Hypocrite!A Poem by Frozen EyesOxymoron-ized!At times I'm all by myself in the skies Loneliness might be pricking me hard, But I will not barter my flight The ground might seem far below Yet on it I'll have my Hawk sight!
I might step willingly into your chambers Create an ambience of comfort for awhile, But then I love my privacy too Once I sense you prying too much Won’t think twice to run away from you!
Oh! I do sympathize sometimes, People define “care” as they want to But I’m allergic to “sob story” I'm miles away from alleviating FYI “EMPATHY” isn't my cup of tea!
I am not robust or impervious I am mayhem, don't trust your opinions I could be as fragile as a dream Or I be heartless and completely oblivious To all the odds and the extremes!
I wish to live my life as a vagabond No strings attached, none to justify But then I crave for shelter too The basics of life I choose not to ignore But then I love my liberty too!
Yes, I try to escape from life, Yes, I keep conning myself and the rest Every month, every hour, every minute But, I'm not ashamed to confess like the rest I was, I am and I will be a HYPOCRITE!
