When Your Imaginery Friend Stops Talking To You

Words pile up in my head

Overlapping in total disarray

Sometimes they don’t listen to me

Erstwhile I don’t follow what they say

 

Nibs break, pen butts get distorted

Papers are creased, thrown away

Oh! Pen and paper. Wondering why?

I still do it the traditional way

 

Nothing seems to form a line

Quote unquote nothing to say

Everything is jumbled up

How long is this going to stay?

 

Just caught a thought, ah! it slipped again

Looks like my Muse is on a Holiday

To hell with this "Writer's Block"

I'm definitely going to break away...

So here´s some helpful tips I use to when I have writers block, 1. Write down everything that comes into your head in two minutes. 2. Use one word as your theam then write down everything you know about that thing. 3. Read others writing, ask others what you should write on.
The Poem was awesome by the way! Great detail and word structure!

Oh I sure have had this problem. I've sat literally for days and months with writer's block. You can have so many ideas but you just can't get the right fit with words. Although something that does help me with writer's block is when I stop everything and listen to my favorite instrumental music. This is very relatable.

Great write … the remedy to this malady … just let yourself write badly … and before you know it … you'll be rhyming … ugh … but seriously write with no expectations and you'll be surprised at what you are given.
