Here, in Green

Here, in Green

A Poem by FrostAshdove
"

Just a quickly typed out poem, not my best. Still, tell me what you think!

"
Here in green
Laying within layers of leafs
The forest sings a song
Past storms and sunny days
And how in an instant-
Gone
Like a fading rainbow
Not to fast but slow,
Just like so, a river
Do we notice it's movement? Of course,
But then we do not truly see it as unique
Hundreds like it, after all,
Weaving a net across this ever-orbiting marble of rock
And it's common
Simply a speck of dust
Laying on the mirror
Or a small bug
Sending ripples scattering
Across the smooth surface
Of a puddle, surrounded by green
Within layers and layers of leafs
