Cheap & Cheerful.A Poem by Ellie W. MontrealLove is just a dialogue.
These words,
Pile on And on And on And on. He says, she says; Oh the consumptions! Eat it all up, & don't you dare spit it out. It must digest. Believe what you want, Have faith in this quote; "I love you." For this, is simply a phrase. You are the perceiver, I am just the messenger. Bring up old names, those meaningless words that pile on And on And on And on; Until your muse has died & your laughter has stricken cold. Don't come back with words to say until these words have gotten old. © 2008 Ellie W. MontrealAuthor's Note
