Picture.

Picture.

A Poem by Ellie W. Montreal
"

I pictured you and me always, And in this photograph well stay.

"

Black and white,

Monotonous colors.

Something so dull, and you won't change your paintbrush for another.

Tell me why you'd rather see the same greys everyday.

A simple shade of black,

It's so tiring, it makes my eyes close involuntarily.

But you, your eyes look down at your feet;

Look up at they grey sky;

Glare at the black ocean;

And are just fine with the boring colors.

Could I please? Add more hues?

A little bit of green, and a dash of blue?

Or maybe some red, and some purple too.

How about some magenta, and alot of yellow for you.

You need more

Than just blacks, whites, and greys..

You need to explore those colors that make the world exciting,

And I can help you finish that piece of art someday.
