Last Day of Magic.

Last Day of Magic.

A Poem by Ellie W. Montreal
"

we're two parties, two parties ended.

"
Life.
i'll put mines on the line for you, if you knew what i meant by it.
of course, i'll expect some sort of requital ; maybe your life for me.
there doesn't have to be a legitimate reason why.

When you see that i've risked everything, day after day, even my days,
your time is up. Go home. Pack your things. Leave me, be gone.

and don't come back until you risk something for me,
because nothing of mines goes unnoticed. not my love, or my life.
not for anyone ; not even you.

I liked the ending,
and I agree with you!
But sometimes, when I think about it long and hard,
I can never see myself not crying,
it' scary and sometimes ridiculous,
the things we are willing to do.

I liked it. It was strong but I think it was lacking a little something.
great work anyways though. It's definitely not a bad poem, thats for sure :)
