Lost!

Lost!

A Poem by Ellie W. Montreal
"

I just got Lost.

"
when you've lost something important,
your world is shut down, like a virus has entered your hardware, manifesting your soul.
you can't eat, think, or talk the same.
it's sad, and you even pity yourself.
you wish you could slap yourself in the face, but you already have about a million times over something you've lost.

when you've lost something you haven't had,
your game is over, like you've died a million times, and you can't restart your life and do it again.
you can't go back and win.
just give up ; turn off the games, and walk away .... far away.
you wish you could go back, to the fun and excitement, but the joy ! it's all over now.
so just walk away ; grow up already, and stop playing games.

when you've lost something you've dreamed of holding dear to your arms, like a newborn baby,
you're confused ; left out ; isolated from what seems like the world.
your once joyous and happy soul is now filled with confusion, anger, and sadness.
it's frustrating, and you wish you could figure out what to do.
you wish you knew all the answers, but you lost them when you squoze ever so tightly to the question.

when you've lost something that was once worthless and useless, but then becomes all the more essential,
your life is at stake, as if you walk into your own home and are at gunpoint.
you reach for the closest sign of help, but nothing's coming for you.
it's horrific, so horrific you wish the man would shoot you already.
you wish you could realize what had led to this point in time, but you've lost your ability to see anything important.

you wish you could realize what had led to this point in time,
but you've lost your ability to see anything important.

You know I felt like that when I went all suicidal.
It's hard, it's like how do you get over it, when
it seems to be the only bloody thing you can think
about and it tears you apart.
Tore me apart, anyways.
I think you can develop the piece a tad bit more love :D.
