A Poem by Ellie W. Montreal
"

Hm.

"
Hidden;
I tell nothing;
I show no clues;
"They taped over your mouth,
Scribbled out the truth with their lies,
Your little spies."

Smitten;
I swoon;
I fall head over heels;
"Do you know that your love,
Is the sweetest sin?"

Sentimental;
I think of you all the time;
I place little mental notes in my head, but you won't even notice;
"Despondent,
Distracted,
You're vicious & romantic,
These are a few of my favorite things."

Open;
I'm willing to tell you everything, if you ask;
I'm able to try new things, & experience new events with you;
"Maybe we,
Why don't we,
Sit right here for half an hour,
We'll speak of what,
A waste I am,
& how we missed a beat again."

Careless;
I don't care about what anyone says about you;
I don't care about anything anyone says or thinks about me, except for you;
"& now I walk around without a care,
She's got me hooked,
It just ain't fair,
but I...
I'm love stoned and I could swear
That she knows
Think that she knows, oh, oh."

Easygoing;
I will let you do as you please, even if it's bringing out the brightest of green-eyed monsters inside;
I don't mind going out to a party, or even sitting at home, as long as it's with you;
"Me and you,
Setting in a honeymoon,
If I woke up next to you,
If I woke up next to you."

Loyal;
I will stick with you;
Until the end of time, I will be with the same person, always;
"The best way,
To make it through,
With hearts and wrists intact,
Is to realize,
Two out of three ain't bad,
Ain't bad."

Hopeless;
Some say I'm never gonna make it, in whatever I do;
I'm stubborn, & vulnerable, & honestly pitiful when it comes to self-esteem;
"We're the new face of failure,
Prettier and younger but not any better off,
Bulletproof loneliness,
At best, at best."

Interesting use of lyrics (I had to look them up to be sure that they were lyrics, and didn't know any of the bands). I think this layout is quite original. Shame that a large percentage of these words aren't your own, but I get that it's part of a style.

Good luck with the finish.

I thought this is a good example of free expression. The prose is great! I thought you captured personalities perfectly. Great work!

I think this is a product of boredom.
End of story.
