Gone.

Gone.

A Poem by Ellie W. Montreal

All of my precious work:
Gone.
& I'm so sorry I don't have a better opinion on this, but all of it.
Not just a piece of it.
Not just half of it.
Not just a little bit.
All of it.
Gone.
Deleted from which I can't bring back.

The only one I can ever bring back is "Written;"
I wish I could bring them all back instead.
But, I can't. All my free form words flowing into such a way that can't be replaced,
They're gone.
I don't have them saved anywhere.
Not in my head, because once I place them here, they exit my mind.
Not on paper, unless I was planning to put it here.

Not anywhere.
I guess this is time for me to move on & just make more poems, stories, & songs.
Rather than just sitting here & mourning.
