I Saw Her Today

I Saw Her Today

A Poem by Phoenix Rising

“I Saw Her Today”

I saw her today…her touch, her smell, her mere presence… Intoxicating

Her image burns in my mind, her shirt fluttering as she walks by me. ..

She sits in her chair, and turns to look at me...her knees bent in a way that allows an extra inch or so of skin to be unveiled

I smile at her, hoping she doesn’t notice my stare, or if she does, she doesn’t care…

I sit closer to her now…enjoying her acceptance, I play off an “accidental” brushing of her knee, but she says it is fine, her big eyes look lonely, almost begging for more

My mind wanders as she talks..

My hand grasps her knee, feeling the warmth of her skin

I feel her move as I slide my hand slowly up her leg

Our eyes meet, locked in a lustful gaze

I feel lace, and gently brush it aside…

A noise outside brings me back to reality

I smile and ask her to repeat herself, my palms sweaty in my lap

I look into her lonely eyes again...losing myself in fantasy once more..
