The Devil Hates my Beliefs

The Devil Hates my Beliefs

A Poem by Friday Junior
"

What is it about everyday people and evil?

"
There are everyday people
And those who are peaceful
There are sexual Gods and Goddess'
There are leaders and followers
Of lovesick promises
But I stand alone
Out on my own
And the Devil hates
The seeds I've sown
So I reap my rewards unknown...
I am a man who has strong beliefs
I am a man who will not trust a thief
I lost it all in Montreal
And now I've returned
So the devil don't fall
I wrote Him a song and that was all...
There are billions of lovers
Who seek safety in numbers
They run and they hide
All down by the seaside
And I must answer
Out of anxious pride
I let the whole deal fly
Because the world sold it's soul
And no one knows why?
But I will make it my lifelong goal
To see them get by...
I am a man who has strong beliefs
I am a man who will not trust a thief
I lost it all in Montreal
And now I've returned
So the devil don't fall
I wrote Him a song and that was all...
