Midnight RaiderA Poem by Friday Juniorwords are imagery, and images quicken intuition as we go
i am fifty years older
i am lifting a soldier i am paying the redeemer i am in love with a screamer i am brave and quite wise i am not good with good-byes if i don't see you sooner i will see you later just don't get me involved with the midnight raider... i am crazy, not broken i am sending you a token i am in love this time i am fulfilling my rhyme i am a mighty king in exile i am wondering while i smile if i don't see you sooner i will see you later just don't get me involved with the midnight raider... i have had my heart stolen and with no one golden hair of a goddess curly brazen and the farmers crops they're all a failing if i don't see you sooner i will see you later just don't get me involved with the midnight raider... © 2016 Friday Junior |
