The road to darkness

And wickedness devoured everything

One, two, three seconds and every last corner of the world was covered

Covered in wickedness

Chaos erupted and was greeted without resistance 

Because who was there to stop the darkness when the light no longer was our ally

And the hope that still existed was crushed beneath the weight of dark souls

Torn into a million pieces and a million more

Slowly the joy was drawn from us and replaced with pure bitterness

How did it end up like this

I would not have known english was your 'other' language..this poem is very well written..just the very last line does not seem finished or rather it has taken a turn of direction..since you say this is a rough draft then i understand that you will come back to it...that sometimes happens with my writing as well..the perfect finish will come days later... write on ...
