But apparently I'm never a fun day

I should be honored

I start off the week

But instead you just critque

I'm always what they dread

Becuase they want to stay in bed

and lay amongst the morning red

 

They whine and complain

And think I'm lame

Making me feel ever such shame

 

Will you be my new friend?

And please don't pretend
