Color Me Pretty

Color Me Pretty

A Poem by Andy
"

This is about being judged, and being colored (seen) differently by everyone.

"

Color me dead

Color me blue

I don’t care

It’s nothing new

Heart bleeds black

Eyes glow green

I’m evil and mean

Purple painted words

Gray slender curves

must be the nerves

Walking into contrast

Written black & white

they're Malevolent and full of spite

Soul struck jealousy

Silver insecurities

Broken down, broken brown

Words of gold

I’ve always been told

color me blue

It's nothing new

I like how you didn't match the colours with their stereotypical- okay, I can't think of the word I wanted to use... You know feeling? Like red would be anger, green would be envy ETC.

The poem has a decent flow but it's disrupted at times with words that could be taken out.

For instance in the line: "It's because I'm evil and mean" you could get rid of "it's" so that you maintain a steady rhythm.

Keep up the good work!
