The Tree of Life.

 

The tree of life comes in many different hues.
Purple (Spiritual) White (Christ-like) Red (Love)
Green (Healing) Yellow (Prejudice) Black (Negative)
with roots going deep and spreading throughout the earth.

The tree is born at the moment of our birth
and like an artist, only we can decide what colour to paint it.
Some will kill their tree of life through negativity,
but others through each kind and positive word and deed
will help their tree to prosper and seed,
spreading joy to all who see
the beauty of God in the leaves of their tree.

In a sense, we give birth to ourselves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Trees are amazing in and of themselves, but also serve as excellent metaphors for life and/or man.

Beautiful picture and equally poetic tree of life dear. That is so true isnt it Marie, we paint the given seed to sapling to the big tree adding strength and weakness and constructing our own lives. The fruits and flowers will bear at its time if we have nurtured it accordingly. As I read your lines the images of various people came to my mind and I appreciated how some lives had been so kind and giving making garden of beautiful trees. Wish to continue to receive strength and raise the spiritual tree and giving shade to atleast one or other few..

The tree of life for me is a symbol of abundance and eternal life; its been my logo for many years.
