Soft, warm, tender

honey-sweet, Guinness laden kisses

plant themselves on my lips.

Cruising the canals of my mouth

like a luxury liner ship.


Lingering a moment here,

lingering a moment there.


Desire roaming like a hungry wolf.

You everywhere!

At first, I took this literally as a sensual pleasure of taste and a sweet substance that enhances it. Then it became a parent that it was also a metaphor for love. The literal meaning of kisses was well understood in my second thoughts. Very nicely, composed and penned

i do not drink, but i did have some sweet moments today walking through the park.
enjoyed this ode to drinking. it rocks along like a shanty.
