You may feel a gentle breeze upon your face
or see an beautiful butterfly with wings like pretty lace,
or spy a little robin staring up at you,
or see a special rainbow wrapped in a mist of morning dew.
Or find a lovely feather in a place no bird could be,
left there for you to find,
by a loved one
whose soul has been set free.
Sometimes you may find a coin
as you walk along the street.
Left there by a loved one,
for you a little treat!
These are the little signs from Spirit
to let you know they still care
and that they walk beside you each new day.
Perhaps, you sense them there?
Your loved ones have not gone away.
They never will, you know.
They send you proof in many ways,
their love for you to show.
The most beautiful writing about those that we love and care about, and they’re passing. It appears that we choose to be with those that we love, and that probably applies to any life after as well as this. This was a particularly tender poem that captures the heart of the reader And leaves this long in for contact with those that we miss. Very expertly done Marie.

Beautiful lines Marie. They resonated with me. I have a thing about finding feathers in my garden. I always think they are from the spirit world. Same with butterflies and there is a robin who visits my garden that reminds me of a special loved one who has departed. I am not a religious person but certainly a very spiritual one. I very much enjoy your poetry Marie. Thank you so much for sharing your gift here with us. With appreciation. Have a good evening.

Like you, I too, walk a spiritual path in this lifetime. Strangely, I don't accept feathers found outside as being gifts from Spirit because where we live we have a huge selection of crows and seagulls. I only accept feathers, etc within the house. I have a huge box full and they are full of static! When I open the box they all cling to me, so I seldom open it except to add new feathers to it. My husband finds beautiful new shiny 5 cent coins on the foothpath. I keep telling him they're from his Mam in Spirit. She loved money! She used to come to visit and would call him out into the kitchen to give him money! She's still trying to make him rich, Chris :)) It's Robins with my youngest daughter Deirdra, They follow her if she's at the cemetery walking. Your beautiful spiritual light shines through your face, Chris. You are like a lighthouse to those in need of light in their lives, dear friend. I too, enjoy your beautiful poetry so very much, Chris and again, I thank you for sharing it. It is ever a privilege to read. Wishing you a very lovely, relaxed and pleasant evening to enjoy, dear Chris...

I like this a lot. I often think nature sends me "Hellos" from those I am missing. ~Jim
