Dare To Dream

They say it's all in the mind
How we imagine things to be
is very far removed
from what becomes our reality

We each have dreams to follow
A date to keep with Fate
We strive for success on the ladder
and pray we don't end up 'shark bait'

Sometimes dreams fall by the wayside
We fail to make them come true
Caught up in the tangles of life
we struggle at the back of the queue

Never give up on your dreams
Follow them day after day
Never lose sight of your goals
as you travel along life's highway

Sadly I too often say I wanted to, I was going to, we were making plans to BUT life gets/got in the way. I was planning to visit my best friend in W.V. in the spring of 2022 but Oct. 2021 she died from Covid. Thinking we have time is one of the biggest lies we can tell ourselves. Don't put your dreams and what's most important at the back of the que. Rearrange the Playlist and put what matters first. You captured this sentiment simply and absolutely Kudos
