Magic Mushrooms.

Magic Mushrooms.

A Poem by Marie

Home to fairy folk and kin.
Secret meetings held within.
Fairy’s flying far and near,
are seen by children sweet and dear.

Fairylings are born at night
under Luna’s silvery light
and fully grown at break of day,
with ethereal wings they fly away.

Emerging in twilight’s evening gloom
from their enchanted home,
the majestic mushroom.

I tried humming it Marie , your poetry has a musical quality. Today was rather pensive here and for no reason. How on reading this mind got transported to kids and innocence and their magical fantasy interests in fairy tales , was imagining luna's moonlight and tranquility. Sometimes we go deep into the real world and miss the folktales-ish fun and leave very little (MUSH)room for even imagining miracles! It was nice dear..

Oh my., what a beautiful little fairytale, could pass as a lovely children story if developed into it..
Very magical imagery and word choice used. I always loved the idea of fairies in flower gardens.

Thanks for sharing Marie.

I had always heard that magic mushrooms were used to get high but such a fanciful picture is presented here. So nicely presented in fanciful form, delicately worded it dances with the mind and takes me back to my childhood. A super inked poem of fantasy in an alternate world. Lovely Marie.
