Leaves velvet to my touch,
kissed by dew drops in ‘The Fall’

Fragrant, ever fresh and new.
You grace me with your love
glistening with Autumn dew.
You're my blessing from Heaven above.

Treasured and precious,
such a flower is seldom found.
It blooms deep in this heart of mine
and not in earthy ground.

Passionate beyond measure,
so loving, gentle and true.
You are my ‘Mystic Rose of Love’
and my heart belongs to you!

Thank you for reading dear Amy and for your so kind words. At my age all we have are memories, my dear friend. That said, the poems are not personal, dear Amy. They just flow through my pen down on paper. I guess it's my Muse at play or at work! I am well, thank you for so very kindly asking, Amy. Back to myself now again. Though my husband was in hospital from Sunday night last to yesterday (Wednesday) as he dislocated his shoulder in a simple fall. He escaped having surgery but it took over three hours in theatre to get it back into place. He came home yesterday and I am taking the greatest good care of him as he is not allowed to even wiggle his fingers in case it comes out again. He is wearing a surgical sling to keep his hand in the one place. He has an appointment in two weeks and hoping all will be well when the doctor checks his shoulder out again. My lovely son-in-law fell two steps off a ladder and split his shoulder blade from top to bottom and he also has his hand in the same kind of sling as Tom! Here's hoping that there are no more falls, dear Amy. THANK YOU! again for all your kindness, my dear friend... Bless you always, dear Amy...
