October Snow.

Snowflakes dance in the midnight air
slowly descending, layer upon layer.
Each one different, in purest white
contrasting so well with the ebony night.

They form a soft blanket, to the children's delight
who will make and throw snowballs in a make belief fight.
Snowmen created, unique in design.
Children will happily play and invite others to join.

Next day comes the sun, from behind a big cloud.
Looks at the world and feels kind of proud.
Shining his light on each son and daughter,
melting the snow into pools of clear water.

Language is very descriptive and it creates a nice picturesque scene of winter while reading it. I LOVED THIS POEM. Very nice, joyful but yet calming.
