Amazing Marie at this very moment I too was working on a poem of a leaf. It is as if there is a mental link somehow. You have so playfully captured the leaf in words as the web has in the poem. Now caught in the mind it is a prisoner unable to escape. The force of one piece of nature holding another. The window such an excelent metaphor for our vision and the rear view mirror a vision of the past ties with the leaf now a piece of the past as well caught in the past woven web. It beckons in the passing wind to join, help and free it from the present. In so few words so much meaning. True poetry

Yesterday, I noticed the little leaf struggle to free itself from the web which held it prisoner, as we went for a drive to the beach. NOT beach weather, but good to get out for a while. I absolutely love the deeper meaning you have taken from the write. You are an amazing psychologist, Soren! What a wealth of meaning you found in simple words, my dear friend. Gratitude your way, with heartfelt thanks, dear Soren...

This poem explores the theme of entrapment and the struggle for freedom. The yellow leaf, caught in a cobweb, symbolizes the challenges and limitations faced in life, particularly during transitional periods like autumn.
I really enjoyed reading this micropoem. I love the imagery in it as well.
