Deep for so few words. The image of being alone at sea with no guiding star fits well as a metaphor for someone alone in this world, in the dark on a sea of humanity with nothing to guide them is a frightening situation. But then in reality we are all in this situation.

It was to tell him that for 54 years, he has been the guiding light in my life, the love of my life and I tried to put into words what life for me without him, would be like.
