Meditation.

It fascinates me, the door ajar

and beckons me like a beacon of light.

I can't explain its attraction

as it invites me, a humble guest

to enter and explore

the hidden treasures in my mind.

There, I behold riches most sacred.

Memories, thoughts, parade in visual detail

and I review...

Amazed!

Gratitude fills my open heart

How lucky I am!

Truly blessed by a life well spent...

Gratitude is the keystone to happieness and there is noting worth more in life than happieness, without it life has no meaning or value. I love the tite to this poem. Very few people spend the time to meditate. The first few lines introduce this in such a poetic manner. So wonderful to mention the treasure in the mind and I believe that it is the gratitude that shines brightest in value. Beautiful
