There once was a snake in the grass
whose words and actions were crass
He thought he was great
and favoured by Fate
not realising he was an a*s!!!

I absolutely adore this limerick! Such a fine picture drawn of that snake and I can think of many who are so toxic and concealed. But fate will see the end of them, of course, dispelling their illusions. A powerful message delivered! So good to read your beautiful poetry today!
