Marie a little help to an ignorant old man. The format seems close but not the same as a traditional Haiku or similar to a three line Senryu. Beautiful imagery that evokes feelings of autumn and its format is as brief as autumn itself. Lovely

Thank you for kindly reading and for your very informative reply. Please may I ask what format is used for traditional Haiku? I was taught that it was three lines with 5 syllables in line 1, seven syllables in line 2 and 5 syllables in line three and the same for Senryu. PLEASE let me know when time permits, dear Soren. Yes Marie I am no expert but my understanding is three lines 5,7,5 syllables, although there is some debate on this because of Japanese/English translation issues but a Haiku focuses on nature while a Senryu is about human foibles and a haiku usually has a cutting word whild a senryu does not. But Marie like Sonnets that have a particular form people on line call many variations Haikus and Sonnets that are not.
