Oh the peace in this free verse is soul swaying truly, I love this serene imagery of mountain and a cottage in the middle of all its fresh greenery, the lines signifying the beauty of the sky is lovely, as if a painting it sounds like, all the calming stillness the last lines tell of is echoing to my heart, wishing to seek such a heavenly escape away from all this adulthood. Such peace instilling read this is my friend!
PS:- idk why I have been missing these newly posted poems, I'm a bit bothered about it.

V. and thank you so v-e-r-y much for kindly reading and for your beautiful review. The site has been down on and off, even this evening, but hope it is back for good this time. Please don't worry about missing posts, my dear friend. I am SO pleased you felt the calmness which I felt as I looked out of the window of the hospital ward I was in, when I wrote the poem. It was a beautiful, warm day and I was in bed looking out at the fabulous array of colours on Mount Brandon and inspiration came, so I scribbled it down. I am so grateful for your lovely review, dear P. V. and I thank you again, dear friend. Have a very lovely evening and a lovely weekend too...

I live about 15 miles away from Tralee in the Literary Capital of Listowel ;) It is beautiful to see the mountain in gorgeous hues as one enters Tralee. So pleased you enjoyed the poem, dear red93 and thank you again...
I think the word, "Majestic" is a very fitting adjective to use in regards to such mountains. Like the ocean, they stir one's senses and emotions. I grew up in the shadow of one similar, so this fine poem has special meaning.

There is nothing but utmost respect for Mother Nature there. Brandon is a very beautiful mountain and to climb it one is fascinated by the utter peace as one ascends. There is a beautiful Grotto half way up and at the very top the crucifixion. Not as little as a sweet paper can be seen along the way. Climbers show so much respect for Mother Nature, but in general, I agree with what you say about how we repay Mother Nature and our insatiable greed, Gee. It is a very valid point and I, thank you for sharing it with me today. Thank you also for kindly reading and for your kind and encouraging comment. Wishing you a very lovely evening, Gee...
