Space, darkness and light.

For a contest...

Space a deep abyss of time, lost within the space of rhymes.

My mind finds itself overwhelmed by stars that sparkle and shine.

 

Space sublime to us here, living within this sphere.

Our minds occupied by that near, we must live without fear.

 

Space cold and warm, yet full and empty…

Always shape shifting new form, with infinite possibility.

 

Darkness is wide and expanding. How can life become withstanding.  

Look far long and deep within a dream space will never sleep.

 

Darkness eats all with no mercy. Heartless takeover is what I see.

Colors are the only form of emotion within this dark growing ocean.

 

Darkness is what we all fade too… Spark life to keep us one true.

True within this life of thee unknown, we shape shift our visual tone.

 

Light becomes form of expression lived within our own confession.

We stand not knowing for how long, moving with calm and aggression.

 

Light makes us fight for what we know as right.

We keep within sight he who made space with his might.

 

Light made by the one who is all, in this darkness with him we will not fall.

Although we are few and small, if we speak to him in need he will answer the call.

So very true here, When we have the light we abuse it and take it for granted it's those who are blind that can see it usally. Why? I guess it's the material things we take for granted and the blind man don't. this is a really amazing write. Full of truths as well as answers......Kim

This single line stood out the most to me. It says volumes in perspective as to what my own faith is to me and the trust of my creator has in me to be able to rely in dark times on my creator .
