My Girls

My Girls

A Poem by Freespirit111063
"

A poem I wrote when my beautiful girls were quite young.

"

Sunshine and laughter

My girls of golden light

Little mermiads in the water

Quiet angels at night

Smiles to die for, blue eyes to match

Riding bikes, building tents, a quick game of catch

Untidy bedrooms, they can't find a thing

Friends here at teatime, a push on the swing

Playing and laughing, rushing around

Coming in excited, a new friend they've found

Loving hugs for me, a kiss and a smile

Miserable without them, I'll just watch for a while

This is great! I like your comparisons in the beginning...
"Little mermaids in the water, Quiet angels at night."
Very creative!
