Dreams

The ongoing story of my life, thoughts and feelings....

I have my dreams, they fly on wings of light and love

I dream of watterfalls of crystal and deep oceans of blue

Of peace and tranquility under trees laden with green

Of fields full of flowers, their scent all around

Of my children, their youthful exuberance their discovery of life

And I dream of you my love and the peace I have found

Of the fun and laughter I found deep inside

Of the pain and heartache that comes along too

I dream of there being no happy ending perhaps

And of what I will gain along the way

I dream of summer days bright with the sun

Of childrens laughter at their games

Of picnics and music and days on the beach

Of long walks with you arm in arm and nights of the same

And maybe just maybe a lifetime of these dreams coming true

oh i like this poem, it has been time since i read some thing along these lines. i like the part with you being dreamy and realistic at the same time, i must say that it doesn't get too mushy and yet feels romantic. thank you for sharing

Loved the poem. I did see one word not spelled right. It has a good rythem and flows well. I think it was a good poem.
