Number Three~~ Chase

I was excited. Dana is going to Homecoming with me! I immediatly grabbed my cell phone and called Deryck. "Yeah?" He said.

"She said yes!!!" I yelled into the phone.

"Congrats dude." Deryck said. 

"Are you going?" I asked.

"Maybe. I'm not sure yet." Deryck said. 

"Mind if I come over so we can go shopping?" I asked. 

"Yeah, come on over." 

We hung up and I grabbed my jacket. I still can't believe Dana said yes! 

Deryck drove us to the mall in his black Audi. 

"How did you ask her?" 

"YouTube video. I held up a piece of paper saying 'Will you go to Homecoming with me?'

"Dude, that's adorable." Deryck said. 

"I couldn't think of any other way." I said. Deryck smiled. 

"You're great, you know that?" He said as he parked the car.

"Thanks." He looked at me with his eyes of hazel. He has really pretty eyes. 

Unexpectedly, he leaned in to kiss me. Yeah, I know he's bisexual, but I didn't think he had a thing for me! I pulled away quickly. 

"What the hell was that?!" I yelled. He blushed and looked away. 

"I don't know." He said quietly. 

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. I was thinking..."

"That I was Denver?" I supplied. He nodded and put his legs up.

He placed his arms on his knees and his head on his arms. 

"Deryck? Dude, it's okay. It was a nice kiss, but you know I don't like you that way."

"Yeah, I know. But I wanted to let you know that I have a crush on you."

"Kay."

"Just..... never mind."

"No, tell me."

Deryck picked up his head and brushed away his hair. "I was just gonna say that... Dana Marie is really lucky to have you." He put his head on my shoulder. 

"Why does love have to be so hard?" He mumbled. I hugged him tightly. 

"It'll be okay dude."
