Crazy

When you aren’t with me, I just go crazy

With memories of you flooding my mind

Everything else in my life seems so hazy

As I try to keep sane and not unwind

Now that you are gone, a piece of me is too

And an attempt to get it back is vain

A tear finds its way out when I think of you

Because I just can’t wait to see you again

I need you with me to complete the picture

Everyone else seems to just be a hoax

My life seems to have a ricture

As I find myself whispering inside jokes

I realize this poem must sound really cheesy

And in case you can’t tell miss you like crazy

Pretty good and a bit odd but in a good way. Friendships can often be difficult to maintain as you get older and wiser. Eventually most friends drift apart at some point.

The rhymes are decent but nothing special. Then again, I'm fond of non-rhyming/free-form poetry. ;)

I really enjoyed the second stanza though.

All in all, 'tis a fine poem, Ms. T. :)
