A Crimson Rose

A Crimson Rose

A Poem by Sean K. Gall

(This goes out to all the girls that get rejected by a love letter
This goes out to all the boys that try to make things better
This goes out to the ones hurting inside
This goes out to the ones holding their pride
This goes out to all the people that try to make a difference
And this goes out to all that try to stop the dissemblance)

Wake up inside, because this is the day,
When you, yourself get to say what you need to say,
Write it out,
Scream it as a shout,
Or all it will be is a whisper in the dark,
And it will never hit its mark,
So don't let things bring you down,
As you try to make that someone come around,
This day is your chance and your chance alone,
So i don't want to hear you gripe and moan,
Just remember it takes more than just a simple letter,
If you put your heart into it it will make it all that better,

But also remember that if your chance goes up into a flame,
There is no one to blame,
Because there is also a beautiful sight in that pit,
Sometimes thats all you need to keep you fit,
So look deep into that mess as you start to doze,
Because lite ashes of a burnt up letter resemble pedals of a crimson Rose,
Like a flower blooming back to life,
revealing the hidden dangers of a beautiful sight,
I stand here today to say to you all,
That no matter what you do you're always going to fall,
But those that stand tall,
Won't be put away like some doll,

So remember this and remember it well,
No matter what people are trying to sell,
Keep that image of that Crimson Rose,
And you will always be the one that knows,
That there is always a hidden beauty behind a burning crimson rose,
So good luck and i hope that you all get your way,
On this upcoming Valentines Day.
