wow, this was really good and i myself can really relate, i haven't seen my father for almost three years and haven't talked to him since april. i also just recently found out that he has a new girlfriend that he and my mother both failed to mention to my siblings or me and that he found the money to get out to LA from Virgina but not to see his kids. sometimes i don't want anything to do with him and sometimes i just want to sit and talk with him for hours about everything and nothing. its a complicated type of relationship.

This has to be difficult when you have this kind of relationship with your father. This is a very good write.

I like the back-and-forth rhythm of ever other phrase, the tone of this piece and ultimately the ending which sums it up nicely.
