purple flowers

purple flowers

A Poem by Freder Fredersen (aka Grady)
"

short

"

the purple flowers

bloomed this morning.

now,

all the other plants

look either dead or

sick with seething envy.

The short ones always pack the biggest wallop. This is great. It gets the mind to wandering and thinking about metaphors.

Purple is power and flower is beauty. Joined together, they can attract just anyone. Thus, its birth is the death of all others. I don't mean literal death. But it's something worst than that---it's the existence that holds no meaning.

I believe this speaks volumes. A great write.
