Nancy Sleeps on the Beach

Nancy Sleeps on the Beach

A Poem by Freder Fredersen (aka Grady)

In Nancy’s green stare,
Liberty shines

On the seashore
Naked
Rum bottle half empty
Smile half full
Starlight bathes
Her curvaceous frame

Red curls bounce
As she dances
No music
To be heard
But
The sounds of
Lake Worth Beach

For her pleasure:
Earth spins
Waves lap
Moon shines
Birds circle
Sand cradles
Wind blows

She knows that
She owns her existence
Just as much as
Her existence
Owns her

She giggles a salty anthem
An exquisite moment
World giggles
Along

In Nancy’s green stare
Liberty shines

I love this piece! I'm glad I read it, too. I came to your profile with the intention to read, and I chose this one because, heck, I'm going to the beach in a week, and I'm a little excited. lol. but This peace in intoxicating. It makes you feel like you're right there beside Nancy, this entity who seems to be so at one with nature that has influence on what happens in it. Very great. I love this.

That's very interesting! lol almost like she's on drugs but I won't make that leap. She could just be very intune with her existence and her relavence in nature. Nice job!
