Resanctification

Resanctification

A Poem by Freder Fredersen (aka Grady)
"

Resanctification

"

rerun views, down through the floorboards
again through the stone and earth,
into the water pipes,
flowing anywhere I will,
rolling through faucets,
drank back into the mouths
that spoke them into my nous.
warped edicts extracted from furrows of someone else’s history;
again someone else’s remembrance,
compounded until my own past was stifled
in it’s forgetful tomb of In the Beginnings and
Once Upon a Times;
until it was
lost

so let it all rush back into the well-meaning
rusty spouts from which it was birthed!
let my own busted vessel
be reconfigured,
refilled,
resurrected!
raised from terror!
set sharp on it’s forward track;
released from it’s former backslidden rut.

found,
and given wings,
and liberated treks
through glorious and untraced new constellations
embroidered with Honesty’s flawless stitch
again, undecided young eyes search
messages embedded in unscathed walls of dream caves
that twinkle behind my stare,
then burst out of my mind,
and stand defiant,
marching anywhere I will,
onto the waiting page,
again, through the bone and flesh;
virgin faith, up through the ceiling
transmitted for all who wish
to hear;
begging fresh response
