Living Like a Royal

Living Like a Royal

A Poem by Freder Fredersen (aka Grady)
"

poem

"

Hot buttered biscuits, jellied with disease,

Clumps of bovine meat, caked with clogging grease

Flagrantly bloated in a filth-fouled bed

Living like a royal in the land of the dead.

Chocolate covered evil slides down the gullet

Casing dropped out, like a suicide bullet

Cancer-clustered neighborhoods resting in peace

Living like a royal in the mouth of the beast

Lapping at the liquid defiled by pollution

Impurity becomes a part of your constitution

Fat-body rejecting the unclean intrusion

Living like a royal in a kingdom of delusion

Sitting in puddles of self-execution

Snuggle and cuddle with a glutton’s retribution

Aneurisms, heart attacks, arteries harden;

Buried like a royal in the withered hemlock garden
