A Poem by Freder Fredersen (aka Grady)
"

Poem for my big brother.

"

wrapped with cloud frost

stand the elder and I,
minds popping live cressets,
dewy murmurs sizzle beneath.

speaking oceans,

conveying tide pools
squirming with glowing unknowns.

drifting mnemonic memorizations
of other men’s discoveries,

seeking our own ghosts,
orange lights in limbo

puffing smoke.

torments shed momentarily,

Ids exposed,
(time, tides and wind passing through us)

brothers, tribesmen, fools.
