Things I'll never say

Things I'll never say

A Story by Katrina Crago.
"

This has a poem like format, but with dialouge.

"
There will be things I'll never tell
Things you'll never know
Like how I found out I was in love with you.
Randomly one day.

You were talking
I was listening
Nothing unusual there
Then I noticed

The way your eyes sparkle
The way your voice sounds
It all hit me so suddenly
I just zoned you out.

I stared at you for what seemed like an eternity.
Until you called you my name
"Katrina, are you alright."

I looked up at you
Eyes big and clueless
I just got up
And ran.

I ran and ran
I could here you following me
I just stopped
And turned around

"Why do you always chase me when I run?"
I was frustrated, angry.
I wanted to know why you cared.

"If I didn't, how else would you know I still cared?"

That was it
Right there
All the years of our useless bickering
Gone.

I wanted to say it
Those three words
I had wanted to say to you
I love you

Instead I smiled
I looked at you
Right in your beautiful blue eyes and said:
"Let's go home"

There will be things I'll never tell
Things you'll never know
Like how I found out I was in love with you.
Randomly one day.

It was very cute and I found it to strike me with a sense of pain and wonder.
