Sovereignty

Why can't I be sovereign?
Sovereign over my rampant thoughts
Over my impeding desolation
Why does my perception hinder me?
I feel useless, habitually begging
On something to go right
Everything I do is illogical
I am a flaw in a flawless world
I am incompatible in a world of copies
I am a mortal soul among immortal beings

i like this idea. my ex explained it in saying that he felt like he was almost an error in the world. while I don't necessarily feel the same I know its kinda hard to kick yourself of that feeling but being able to create and write has made me feel more valuable to the world, that even if someone could put the same words together that no one could write it like me. very good poem doe
