The world is at a halt
Stopped by the ebullition
Is humanity at fault?
Or is this God's decision
We must keep fighting
If we want to win

You have put the entire ongoing scenario in just 8 lines. There is everything that you search in a proficient piece of poetry. There is brevity, emotion, conflict, pity, and of course rhyme. The thing that you need to know is:
YOU MUST KEEP WRITING. Keep polishing your skill.
I, myself, am not very accomplished in this art. But someone told me to keep it up. And that is what i would tell you. Because you never know when you'll become an amateur.

None of us are great otherwise we'd be off getting published and making a pretty penny or two. For many this is a way to improve writing skills whilst interacting with folk from all over the globe.The more you read of the better writers on this site, not me I might add, the better your writing should become.
