Rebirth

I am born anew.

I feel a sense of hope I've never seen,
A freedom once confined to dreams,
But suddenly it's been set free,
So far from thoughts of ending me,
I cherish every breath I breathe,
And spread this love to those who need it,
I swear I barely can believe that life could seem so bright to me,
But these days I AM ecstasy,
I am the one who thinks that we can all attain our destiny,
So finally,
I feel like happiness is primary,
And all the worries that once blinded me, divided me,
They seem to fade away.
In spite of me still sensing the decay,
I will not sway,
Nor be dissuaded by the pressure or the pain,
I will remain,
Never in vain,
I will remain and I will gain the sense of purpose that I've begged for every day since all the hope just ran away,
But hey,
Hope is something that I can create,
And I am happy hunting meaning every single day,
Whether I'll find the things I THINK I want,
No one can ever say,
But I finally see the world as beautiful,
And see life as a thing we can change.
