SilhouettesA Poem by Fraser MurraySomething short and new and a bit different I suppose
Sombre silouhettes
Tracing my regrets, Dancing shapes across my vision, Empty spaces in my head, This sorry state that I've been living in Stains covering my bed, And the dark dream that who I am Could be someone else instead, I can conjure no excuses For the s****y life I've lead, But could explain all of the reasons Why I wish that I was dead, As if that could lend some weight To the delusions that I've bred Within a brain that can't complain When all my friends have f*****g left. © 2020 Fraser Murray |
