Hope withdrawal

Hope withdrawal

A Poem by Frantic Freshman
"

A life without hope or meaning.

"
You seemed to disappear,
No trace left and no time to prepare,
You're a malevolent ghost,
Unseen, unheard yet slowly killing me,
You're absence is detrimental,
Taking me apart on the inside ,
Leaving me to appear
whole,
I am now a puzzle with scattered pieces,
Forcing myself together just for their purpose,
I am nothing but a display,
Designated to keep them satisfied,
To preserve their perspective of life,
I am seen as ungrateful since your absence,
Seen as crazy or spoiled for taking life as a challenge,
For seeing life with no purpose but death,
For not understanding why you shouldn't die young.
When all you see and feel is nothing,
Do you even exist?
Are you worth hope?
